Typically not. AP-M and MP-S Series intercoms had a higher maximum volume for applications like drive-thrus and paging. Our current line of analog intercoms do not provide the same degree of volume. The recommended upgrade path is our IX | IXG Series. You can reach out to your local Aiphone sales representative for more assistance.

Typically not for answering stations. LEF and LEM answering stations will not have enough capacity to replace an existing NEM answering station, since it will not have another channel and will lack other key features. LE Series substations or door stations like the LE-SS/A or LE-DA can replace existing substations. This requires a PC-359B latching board.

There are some replacement parts available for the VC Series. The VC-K tenant station is still manufactured and can be ordered through an Aiphone distributor.

Replacement buttons for the VC-M entrance stations are also available. Each is made up of three parts:
