Use the following steps to replace a once-working IXGW-GW Gateway Adaptor within a functioning system. These steps assume the system configuration file is available.
Mobile app registration QR codes do not need to be reissued when the IXGW-GW is replaced.
- Within Support Tool, select App Integration > Manual IXG Cloud Server and Gateway Sync.
- Select the IXGW-GW gateway and click the Delete information from Gateway and IXG Cloud Server button.
- Connect the new IXGW-GW to the network and wait until the bootup process is complete.
- On the top menu, select Connection > Association Settings. Scroll to the bottom of this page and remove the association from the old IXGW-GW.
- Associate the new IXGW-GW.
- Upload settings to all stations by going to Connection > Upload Settings.
- Select App Integration > Upload Settings to the IXG Cloud Server. Enter the existing cloud server ID and password.
- Once the status light on the new IXGW-GW is solid green, select App Integration > Manual IXG Cloud Server and Gateway Sync.
