Summary
When uploading a setting file to an IX Series station with firmware version 2.13 or older, the error “Invalid Data in Door Release Settings” is given.
Cause
The setting file being uploaded was created by Support Tool v5.0 or newer, which contains door release authorization keys of 16-digits. This is an invalid value for IX Series stations with firmware version 2.13 or older.
Solution
Firmware v5.1 (or newer) will allow IX Series legacy stations to utilize 16-digit authorization keys when using Support Tool v7.1.0.0 (or newer). Update the firmware using the Firmware Upgrade Tool, initialize the station, return to Support Tool and re-associate, then finally upload the setting file in Support Tool.
This is not an option for systems containing IX Mobile.
