IS-SOFT “Unhandled Error Exception .1026” Windows Error

Summary

IS-SOFT crashes on use, PC event log shows “1026 error”.

Solution

The most common cause of this error is IS-SOFT is installed in one location of the PC and then uninstalled and reinstalled to a different file location on the same PC. This will cause a directory entry that points to a non-existing file location.

Follow the steps below:

1. Uninstall IS-SOFT
2. Browse to C:\ProgramData\Aiphone
3. Delete all files in the location
4. Reinstall IS-SOFT
