Fourth of July Reflections
By Dana Pruiett
As we approach the Fourth of July, we want to briefly set aside thoughts of soda, hot dogs, and fireworks to reflect on what Independence Day really means to us.
Our Declaration of Independence set high ideals for a new nation. But it was a ragtag, largely untrained mix of farmers, hunters, and tradesmen defeating the world’s most powerful military that truly won our freedom. Since, American men and women have successfully defended our freedoms on the battlefield and in legislative bodies and courtrooms.
Protecting our government facilities is part of Aiphone’s heritage. For decades our security and communications devices have been in city halls, state capitols, and federal agencies as well as courthouses, schools, colleges, and universities.
In today’s always evolving landscape of protecting personal safety, corporate security, and those fighting for our freedoms, we at Aiphone work hard to provide security and peace of mind to our children, colleagues, and military personnel that sacrifice so much. We recognize the important role that we have, take our responsibilities very seriously, and are honored that time after time we are chosen to help protect that which matters most to us.
This is a holiday for all Americans. But in between the picnics and parties this year, take a few minutes to remember the hard work and sacrifices generations have given to keep our country free.
Happy 243rd Birthday, America.
