The JP Series video intercom system is backwards compatible with the JM Series video intercom system. However, the quality of the video will vary depending on which video door station is used. Due to quality improvements on the JP Series, grainy/noisy video is magnified when using the JK video door stations. This makes the image quality appear worse than when JK video door stations are used with the JM master station. The best image quality is achieved by using the JP video door stations with the JP master station.
