Aiphone is the proud recipient of three prestigious 2021 Security Today New Product of the Year awards.
The Security Today New Product of the Year Award honors the outstanding product development achievements of security equipment manufacturers whose products are particularly noteworthy in their ability to improve security. In the 13th successful year of this independently juried contest, winners were honored in 43 product categories.
The following Aiphone products were recognized for excellence in three categories: Entry Security Systems, IP Intercoms, and Security Intercom and Communications.
Entry Security Systems
IXW-HWCBP Hand Wave Call Sensor and Surface Mount Box
The IXW-HWCBP hand wave call sensor is weather resistant and includes the SBX-2G—a surface mount box. Featuring a touchless sensor, the IXW-HWCBP allows visitors to place a call without touching the call button on the door station.
IP Intercoms
IXG-MK IP Video Guard Station
The IXG-MK is an IP video guard station with a 7″ LCD touchscreen for the IXG Series multi-tenant system. The IXG-MK station offers an additional layer of screening with guard or concierge staff and can answer calls from an entrance station, tenant station, or individual door station.
Security Intercom and Communications
IX-MV7-HB-L Master Station with T-Coil
The IX-MV7-HB-L is an IP master station with a 7″ color touchscreen and t-coil-supported handset, offering clear audio and video communications for those wearing compatible hearing aids.

2021 Security Today Government Security Award
Aiphone was also a 2021 winner of The Govies Government Security Awards competition. Aiphone received an award for excellence in the category of Emergency Communications Systems. The “Govies” honor outstanding government security products in a variety of categories. Participation in the program was greater than ever this year as government security continues to be an ongoing concern.
An independent panel of judges from the security industry selected the top entries in the 2021 categories, Platinum and Gold winners were named using criteria including Features, Innovation, User Friendliness, Interoperability, Quality, Design, Market Opportunity, and Impact in the Security Industry, Technical Advances, and Scalability.
2021 Secure Campus Award 
The 2021 Secure Campus Awards competition also selected Aiphone as a winner in the category of Communication Devices. The awards honor outstanding campus security services and products. As campuses are adjusting to new scenarios, security continues to be a nationwide concern.
