IX Series: IP Video Intercom
The IX Series is a network-based communication and security system featuring video entry security, internal communication, emergency stations, and paging. All units and apps in the systems can unlock doors remotely on a network, assist onsite visitors from an offsite location, broadcast emergency announcements, and communicate using a PoE network.
Component List
IX-MV
The IX-MV is an IP addressable video master station with a 3.5" color LCD monitor. It can be wall or desk mounted (desk stand included). The IX-MV offers handset (duplex) and hands-free (VOX/PTT) communication and call up to 500 other IX units. It connects directly to a network using CAT-5e/6 cable. This station requires a 802.3af compliant power-over-ethernet network.
IX MOBILE
The IX MOBILE is an app for Android(r) and iOS(r) based devices. It can receive calls from any IX Series units including the IX-MV master, all door and emergency stations, as well as other instances of IX MOBILE. The IX MOBILE can activate the release contacts of any unit to which it has established communication. It also has four programmable speed dial buttons. The IX MOBILE app can be downloaded from the Google Play (tm) and the Apple (r) App Store (sm). Mobile devices not included. *System requires at least one IX-MV **App requires an RY-IP44 and PS-1225UL for use. One RY-IP44/PS-1225UL can be used for up to 8 instances of IX MOBILE. ***Device on which App is installed must have a static IP address.
IX-SS
The IX-SS is an IP audio only door station for the IX Series. This flush mount unit connects to a PoE network using CAT-5e/6 cable. The IX-SS will call up to 20 IX-MV masters or instances of the IX MOBILE. The door station features stainless steel face plate, a form C contact for door release, a 600 ohm output for paging or an amplified speaker, and a contact input.
IX-DF-HID
The IX-DF-HID is an IP audio/video door station for the IX Series. This flush mount unit connects to a PoE network using CAT-5e/6 cable. The IX-DF-HID will call up to 20 IX-MV masters or instances of the IX MOBILE. The door station features a stainless steel face plate, an embedded ProxPoint HID card reader, a form C contact for door release, a 600 ohm output for paging or an amplified speaker, and a contact input.
IX-DF-2RA
The IX-DF-2RA is an IP audio/Video door station for the IX Series. This flush mount unit connects to a PoE network using CAT-5e/6 cable. The IX-DF-2RA will call up to 20 IX-MV masters or instances of the IX MOBILE. The door station features a stainless steel face plate with two call buttons ("Normal" and "Emergency"), braille signage and call placed/answered indication. Additionally, the IX-DF-2RA has a form C contact for door release, a 600 ohm output for paging or an amplified speaker, and a contact input.
IX-SS-2RA

IX-SS-RA
The IX-SS-RA is an IP audio only door station for the IX Series. This flush mount unit connects to a PoE network using CAT-5e/6 cable. The IX-SS-RA will call up to 20 IX-MV masters or instances of the IX MOBILE. The door station features a stainless steel face plate with a single red and "Emergency" call button, braille signage and call placed/answered indication. Additionally, the IX-SS-RA has a form C contact for door release, a 600 ohm output for paging or an amplified speaker, and a contact input.
IX-DF-RP10
The IX-DF-RP10 is an IP addressable video door station for the IX Series with a built-in HID multiCLASS SE® card reader. The video door station will connect via CAT-5e/CAT-6 wire to a local area network (LAN). Maximum wire distance from the door station to the LAN is 330’ (standard network wire distance rules apply). Wiring and power for the card reader are separate from the intercom wiring. The card reader is to be connected to a host controller of any type that is compatible with the HID multiCLASS SE® RP10 card reader. Flush mount with supplied back box or surface mount with SBX-ISDVF.
IX-DF-2RA-FR
The IX-DF-2RA-FR is an IP audio/Video door station for the IX Series. This flush mount unit connects to a PoE network using CAT-5e/6 cable. The IX-DF-2RA will call up to 20 IX-MV masters or instances of the IX MOBILE. The door station features a stainless steel face plate with two call buttons labeled "Normal" and "Emergency" in French, braille signage and call placed/answered indication. Additionally, the IX-DF-2RA-FR has a form C contact for door release, a 600 ohm output for paging or an amplified speaker, and a contact input. La station IS-DVF-2RA-FR est une station audio/vidéo pour la série IS. Cette station nécessite du câblage CAT-5e/6 pour se connecter à l’unité centrale désignée (soit IS-CCU ou IS-SCU). La façade de la station est en acier inoxydable et comprend des vis de fixation inviolables avec deux boutons d’appel identifié "Normal" et "Urgence" en français, ainsi qu’un affichage en braille et un indicateur lumineux d’appel. Le bouton d'urgence déclenche deux sorties relais programmables pour l'activation de systèmes externes ou des périphériques. La caméra intégrée offre un angle de visualisation de 170°, et peut être réglée de façon numérique panoramique, inclinaison et zoom sur la zone de saisie. LE-D
Surface Mount Door Station - The LE-D is a surface mount, ABS plastic door station. It is weather resistant and mounts to a single gang electric box. The LE-D provides communication and call-in. *When used with the IX Series, requires an IX-1AS or IX-10AS.
LE-DA
Flush Mount Door Station - The LE-DA is a weather resistant, flush mount door station with a stainless steel faceplate. It flush mounts to a two-gang electric box or surface mounts using the SBX-2G. The LE-DA provides communication and call-in. *When used with the IX Series, requires an IX-1AS or IX-10AS.
LE-SS/A
Stainless Steel Door Station - The LE-SS/A is a vandal proof and weather resistant sub station. It's constructed with 12 gauge stainless, a baffle protected speaker and limited stop call button. The unit either flush mount into a 2-gang box, or surface mount with the SBX-2G. The LE-SS/A includes tamper proof screws and a tool for installation. *When used with the IX Series, requires an IX-1AS or IX-10AS.
LE-SS-1G
The LE-SS-1G is a vandal proof and weather resistant sub station. It's constructed with 12 gauge stainless, a baffle protected speaker and limited stop call button. The unit either flush mount into a 1-gang box, or surface mount with the SBX-SS-1G. The LE-SS-1G includes tamper proof screws and a tool for installation. *When used with the IX Series, requires an IX-1AS or IX-10AS.
LE-SSR
Stainless Steel Door Station - The LE-SSR is a vandal proof and weather resistant sub station. It's constructed with 12 gauge stainless steel, a baffle protected speaker and features a large red mushroom call-in button. The unit either flush mount into a 2-gang box, or surface mount with the SBX-2G. The LE-SSR includes tamper proof screws and a tool for installation. *When used with the IX Series, requires an IX-1AS or IX-10AS.
LS-NVP/C
Vandal Resistant Door Station - The LS-NVP is a vandal proof and weather resistant sub station designed for use with Aiphone’s LAF-C,LEF, LEM, AP-M and MP-S systems. The LS-NVP is constructed of 11 gauge carbon steel with a whitepowder-coated finish. It can be flush mounted using a standard three gang electrical box or surface mounted with the SBX-NVP. The unit includes tamper proof screws and tool for installation. Communication at the master is push-to-talk, release-to-listen, and communication at the door station is hands free. *When used with the IX Series, requires an IX-1AS or IX-10AS.
IX-DA
The IX-DA is an IP audio/video door station for the IX Series. This surface mount unit connects to a PoE network using CAT-5e/6 cable. The IX-DA will call up to 20 IX-MV masters or Instances of the IX MOBILE. The door station features a form C contact for door release, a 600 ohm output for paging or an amplified speaker, and a contact input.
IX-BA
The IX-BA is an IP audio only door station for the IX Series. This surface mount unit connects to a PoE network using CAT-5e/6 cable. The IX-BA will call up to 20 IX-MV masters or instances of the IX MOBILE. The door station features a form C contact for door release, a 600 ohm output for paging or an amplified speaker, and a contact input.
IX-DF
The IX-DF is an IP audio/video door station for the IX Series. This flush mount unit connects to a PoE network using CAT-5e/6 cable. The IX-DF will call up to 20 IX-MV masters or instances of the IX MOBILE. The door station features a stainless steel face plate, a form C contact for door release, a 600 ohm output for paging or an amplified speaker, and a contact input.
RY-IP44
IP programmable relay adaptor with 4 contact inputs and 4 relay outputs (compatible with the IX Series and IS-IPDV/F, IS-IP4DVF, IS-IPMV, and IPW-1A only).
IX-1AS
The IX-1AS is a network adaptor which allow an LEF or NEM series sub station to work with the IX Series intercom. The IX-1AS is intended for a single sub station and plugs directly into a PoE network connection using a CAT5e/6 cable. The LE/NE sub station wires into the adaptor input using a 2 or 3 conductor cable, depending on the sub station. Each adaptor port has two dry contact outputs, typically used for camera call up and door release.
IX-10AS
The IX-10AS is a network adaptor which allows an LEF or NEM series sub station to work with the IX Series intercom. The IX-10AS supports up to 10 sub stations and plugs directly into a PoE network connection using a CAT5e/6 cable. The LE/NE sub station wires into the adaptor input using a 2 or 3 conductor cable, depending on the sub station. Each adaptor port has two dry contact outputs, typically used for camera call up and door release.
IS-WBCA
The Stainless Steel Wall mount box provides an easy-to-see heavy duty enclosure for an IS Series call station, used for Emergency and Assistance applications. Installed in parking garages, airports, campuses, malls, and a wide variety of locales, these stations provide proper signage and specifications to meet ADA requirements. Beacon is always lit for easy visibility; strobe flashes during emergency call-in. ADA (28 CFR Part 36 section 4.4.1) states that an object must not protrude more than 4" if mounted higher than 27". Since these units have the potential to include a camera, mounting height restrictions are avoided with this streamline design, while call button mounting height guidelines can still be met. Any Aiphone IX or IS RA series station can fit into the wall mount box. Signage and strobe cover configuration is selectable by the customer.

IX-PA
The IX-PA is a paging adaptor designed for use with the Aiphone IX Series network intercom system. The paging adaptor has an address book that supports up to 50 stations and can be connected to 3rd party devices. The paging adaptor can be accessed by an IX-MV master station or an instance of the IX Mobile App to allow messages to be broadcast through the IX-PA 600Ω or 8Ω output. A 3rd party device can be connected to the audio input to send messages to the paging adaptor's address book and speakers.
IX-SDH
The IX-SDH is a stainless steel enclosure for the IX-DA or IX-BA network door stations. The enclosure is made of 14 gauge stainless steel and is designed to mount to a 1 gang box or any flat surface. (IX Door station is not included and must be purchased separately)
Emergency Towers
The modular towers for housing the IS remote stations are designed to suit a variety of application needs for assistance and emergency call stations. Used in areas such as campuses, parking garages, malls or courtyards, these towers can be customized by size, color, configuration, and signage. Compatible with the IX-DF-2RA, IX-SS-2RA, IX-SS-RA, IS-DVF-2RA, IS-SS-2RA, IS-SS-RA, and IS-SS-CI stations.
KAW-D
30 degree angle box. Designed for use with one gang mountable video door stations.
KMB-45
45 degree mullion mounting bracket. Suitable for mounting any of the 1 gang door stations.

EL-12S
Electric Door Strike - The EL-12S door strike is designed for wood framed wooden doors. The unit operates on 12~16 V AC.
SBX-1G
The SBX-1G is a surface mount stainless steel enclosure designed for surface mounting the LE-SS-1G and NE-SS-1G subs.
SBX-2G
The SBX-2G is a surface mount stainless steel enclosure designed for mounting Aiphone 2-gang sub stations.
